Great review....Wow - you are really flying along!! Great review. Jane Eyre is my favorite Bronte novel. I love it and it's many film versions. I agree with Bethy . . . I do get annoyed that they leave out Jane's time with the Rivers as it was important in her development.

It sounds like you have great versions of the books. It's always so nice to have old words explained!Laura's Reviewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13904763940307902364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2942972536445525495.post-71237803496251573852010-01-08T00:05:30.329-05:002010-01-08T00:05:30.329-05:00I hadn't read Jane Eyre until the last year or...I hadn't read Jane Eyre until the last year or two either, even though it is a classic, and I probably should have read it at some point in time in school. My favorite part is when she lives with the Rivers family also. It seems like they skip that part in the movie versions, or at least compress it a lot. It is an important part of the book.
Sounds like those versions of the books you got are useful. I know that old fashioned language is often full of unknowns. You just have to make your best guess, skip it and come back later.
Sounds like you and Emilee are really having fun. You are both going to finish in the first month!Andysbethyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04005340108039880872noreply@blogger.com
