"Children, Go Where I Send Thee"

That was the Christmas song that Katie's ballet class danced for their recital this afternoon. Here are some pictures. It was a very cute song and they did a great job! They had a party with a cake afterwards.

Katie was actually feeling nervous about her recital this week. I want Corey to comment and tell the story about what she said last night as she was going to bed. Apparently, before last night, Katie had aspirations of being "perfect, like God." What a sweet girl!!!!

Sorry, I got tied up and then forgot about this. I am pretty awesome like that.

Anyway, I went to check on Katie the night before her thingy and she was laying awake. I step in to tuck her in and she says that she is nervous about dancing. We go over the fact that she always does a great job and that we are proud of her no matter what, but she responds with "But I want to be perfect like God" I smile and tell her that no one can be perfect and that I am sure she will do her best.

Anyway, there you go.

I think the story was much cooler then that... Come on Corey - give it a little enthusiasm! I clicked the little "cute" button, but I think this story really needs an "adorable" button to click.
I wish I could have seen the recital. Did you get video?
Adorable!!!
